Free Standard Delivery

We are proud to offer FREE standard delivery for all UK mainland orders.

Please get in touch prior to purchase for postage prices outside of these areas. We always ensure that your goods are well packaged and sent as fast and efficiently as possible to your chosen address.

Overseas Purchases

Please get in touch prior to purchase for delivery costs and postage methods overseas.

Please note: Orders sent overseas may incur import duties. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to cover in full any duty or related costs.

How do I return unwanted items?

Online Purchases

Cancellations are accepted within one hour of online purchase.

Arranging a Return

Please inform us that you no longer want the item(s) and would like to arrange a return. You have up to 30 days from when you received delivery of the item(s) to make the request.

Please note: you must have purchased the item(s) directly from foragingforantiques.co.uk

Make sure that all the original packaging, tags, etc. are intact. We cannot accept unwanted items that have been used or with missing/damaged packaging.

Post the item(s), along with a note that states your order number and lists the item codes and quantities, to the returns address on this page. You have up to 14 days from when we confirm acceptance of your return request to post the item(s) back to us. Please note that you will be responsible for the postage and packing costs of returning the unwanted item(s).

We will aim to process your return within 5 working days of it reaching us. We will refund the cost of the item(s). In accordance with UK law, if your full order has been returned to us, we will refund the cost of the goods plus the initial postage and packing charges. Initial postage and packing charges will not be refunded unless all items are returned. Your refund will be processed via the payment method that you used for your order. We will email you to confirm the refund has been issued. Please allow 2 – 3 working days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Courier Services

For large, heavy, items we may choose to use a local courier company. We will ask for your contact details including email address to ensure that it can be tracked to your door.

Lost Items 

After your package has been posted, we do not hold any responsibility for items that go missing in the post. If your delivery has been delayed or goes missing, then please use your tracking number supplied to get in touch with Royal Mail in order for you to locate it.

Refunds on lost items cannot be made until 28 working days after the date of despatch. This is when the Royal Mail classes items as lost. We cannot refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered. Please always choose an address that can be safely signed for. Foraging For Antiques cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit. 

How do I return a damaged, faulty, or incorrect item?

Inform us that you would like to return a damaged, faulty, or incorrect item. If possible, send us a picture of the problem item.

Please note: you must have purchased the item(s) directly from foragingforantiques.co.uk

Refunds will not be issued for the following reasons:

1.      An item is known to be faulty at the time of purchase and stated in the description

2.      If labels, maker’s marks or anything identifying or adding provenance to an item have been removed

3.      An item has been damaged by trying to repair it or getting someone else to do this (you may still have the right to a repair, or partial refund)

4.      You no longer want an item (eg because it is the wrong size, or colour) unless you purchased it without seeing it (ie online), in which case you will be entitled to a refund of the purchase price only (for example, not shipping, packing costs etc)

Online Sales

1.      Customers who purchase from us have the right to cancel an order even if the goods are not faulty within 14 days of the invoice date (whether payment has been made or not)

2.      It is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of the item if the item is not faulty. Please do not dispose of the item before contacting us.

3.      Post the item, along with a note that states your order number and lists the item code and quantity, to the returns address on this page via your local Post Office branch. Unfortunately, we are not able to have it collected it from your home or business address.

4.      We only accept returns from the person who bought the item. We cannot accept returns from anyone else. 

Final Notes about Returns

We recommend you obtain a proof of postage (available free of charge from the Post Office) when sending items back to us. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels that fail to reach us, so please retain your proof of postage until you receive our email confirming that your return has been processed. It is also advisable to take a photograph if possible of the item at point of posting.

Your statutory rights regarding returns are not affected.
