Fabulous 18th century hand-crafted wooden wheelwrights tool used for measuring the circumference of wagon wheels to determine the required length of iron strip. The large moveable wooden wheel is probably made from oak and elm contrasting in colour. A large iron hook is attached so that you can easily display it hung up. It is a solid piece with great age and wonderful orginal patina. It would look fabulous hung in the kitchen, man cave or give as the best unusual gift.
