English, 19th century (dated 1869), Letterpress theatre poster playbill featuring Shakespeare's 'HAMLET'. The poster is printed in bright blue ink on very fine paper. It displays a striking font, especially the funky, Gothic 'HAMLET'. The poster features some key actors from the Victorian age, stars of their day. There is a similar poster though not the same in the collections of the V&A Museum in London. Newly framed and mounted. Ready to hang on your favourite wall.
