19th century black & white Gothic Revival tile designed by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1812-1852). Made by Minton, Hollins & Co of Stoke on Trent. Designed with a stunning geometric pattern of a central quatrefoil and stylised foliage.

Minton collaborated with contemporary designer of the day, AWN Pugin. Together they collaborated on many interior design commissions including the Palace of Westminster.

Stamped with maker's mark on reverse. Great gift as a plant or pot stand or just enjoy as a beautiful design.
