Pair of stunning c1970s Amber Drip glass lampshades by renowned Italian Glass Designer, Carlo Nason. They will need professional wiring. The drip decoration is a design that Nason perfected and sold in collaboration with the renowned Venetian Glass Factory, Mazzega. Nason is considered a benchmark in Italian design. There are a couple of minor nibbles but does not detract from overall aesthetic.

Carlo Nason

His designs are highly sought and reflect innovation and quality. Born in Italy in 1935, Carlo Nason came from a family who was passionate about Murano glass. He followed in their footsteps and began to master the techniques of this beautiful material and became known for his mastery of Murano glass. His designs are renowned for their original, timeless curves. Nason became particularly interested in ‘modern design’. Throughout his career he worked with many major companies but during the 1970s he struck up a partnership with Mazzega to develop his unique collection.
