'Larry the Black Labrador' Pastel Portrait Painting by Renowned Portrait Artist, Mary Browning (1936-2022)
Beautifully executed pastel portrait of 'Larry', the handsome black Labrador by acclaimed British canine portrait artist, Mary Browning (1936-2022). Larry, the dog's name, is incorporated in the painting but can be easily over-mounted.
Browning lived in Oxfordshire and was also an art teacher. She was Member of the Society of Equestrian artists and became Patron of The Italian Greyhound Rescue Society. Mary painted dogs for over forty years.
She had strong royal connections and painted dogs belonging to the late HM Queen Elizabeth; The Queen Mother; Princess Anne; The Duchess of Gloucester; and Princess Michael of Kent.
This pastel depicts a full head study of this handsome boy. It is very realistic. It is framed and mounted and ready to hang.
